I feel like my musical journey started before the day I was born. (in the womb) When my uncle Conroy Smith made his international reggae hit song back in 1988 Entitled "Dangerous". His efforts to become great as an musician has been passed down to me to fulfill the things he may have missed on the way to his success which is our family's success also.
One of the greatness things he has ever told me was that "Music is God, it is the only thing that you cannot see but forces you to move when you hear it." With great power comes great responsibility and as musicians or artists we are the hidden super heroes of the world. Lets act like it and do what god would do. Embrace your passion.
Before the age of eight I was recording myself in my closet with nothing but a old Hp laptop, A software called Audacity and the first generation apple headphones. I’ve came from rap battles in school, making raps for my school, to making the decision to be a full time artist shortly after I graduated back in in 2016. My drive lead to me to opening up for artists such as Lightskin Keisha, Justina Valentine, Omeretta, Sammie & Vedo for free around Atlanta, Ga to gain exposure.
Pursing my dreams of being an artist turned into me becoming a
business man building A entertainment company/ label called Yard Boy Music Management INC with a friend (Randy Dawkins) Then later Launching a Clothing Line within the company called Infinity G8ds. (Corp) Which is also a movement and a lifestyle. I’ve put together creative ways to tell our beliefs, stories and experiences through the ups and downs of pursuing our passion. I hope to inspire people to never give up on their dreams, live righteously, love one another and to understand that you can accomplish anything in life with the right energy, faith, love, passion and a positive mindset.
I’ve been inspired musically by many of the greats like Bob Marley, Micheal Jackson, Tupac, The Notorious BIG, Jay Z, Nipsey Hussle, My uncle Conroy Smith and many others. My style of music blends genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae/ Dancehall and Rock & Roll to create a new genre I like to call Rasta Rock. My Jamaican roots add many layers to my style, you will hear references from our culture and that spiritual vibe the world loves about our island.
